CEDCA Enjoys Lunch With Lord Frost

The Christchurch & East Dorset Conservative Association had great pleasure in welcoming Lord David Frost to a packed Lunch on the 6th of October.

Lord David Frost is a former diplomat who served as the UK's Chief Negotiator for the European Union from 2019 to 2021. He is a member of the Conservative Party and has been a Member of Parliament (MP) for North West Leicestershire since 2010.

He is a highly experienced and skilled negotiator with a proven track record of success. He is a strong advocate for the UK's interests and has a deep understanding of the complex issues involved in Brexit. He is also a clear and concise communicator who is able to explain complex issues in a way that is easy to understand.

Chairman Malcolm Barber said "it was a most enlightening and interesting speech, and thanked Chris Chope for arranging for Lord Frost to come as he has such a busy schedule".

Sir Christopher Chope OBE MP


Christopher was born in Britain in 1947. He was educated at Marlborough College, University of St Andrews and Inns of Courtlaw School. He and his wife, Christine, have two children: Antonia and Philip. He was called to the Bar in 1972.Christopher was elected to Wandsworth Council in 1974 and was Leader of the Council from 1979 until 1983. Christopher has served as a member of the Inner London Education Authority, a member of the Association of Metropolitan Authorities, and a member of the London Boroughs Association.
